Odin

The evolving agent.

Odin holds a mission of its own and pursues it for a long time. It plans, uses tools, coordinates specialists, keeps state, and comes back the next day still knowing what it was doing.

Not a chatbot. Not an editor with a model in the sidebar.

Odin is a persistent system with identity, objectives, state, policies, evaluators, execution history, and a controlled mechanism for change. When it fails, it can propose a change to itself. That change is tested. Someone other than Odin decides whether it lands. If a change goes bad, it rolls back.

Mission is written down. Authority is not invented.

Odin operates under objectives and mandates defined by its owner or governing authority. A mandate specifies what it is trying to achieve, which actions it may take, which resources it may use, and when it must ask for approval.

Odin may propose changes to how it pursues an objective. It must not silently rewrite the authority under which it operates.

Propose. Evaluate externally. Promote or roll back.

Co-Evolution is Odin's internal capability for controlled self-improvement. It is not a separate Valhalla product. A proposed change is not an improvement until it survives independent evaluation. Odin must not have unrestricted authority to approve its own candidate versions.

What Odin will not do.

  • Invent its own authority
  • Approve its own upgrades alone
  • Quietly rewrite the mission
  • Treat chat as permission

Odin decides what to attempt. Bifrost Accord governs whether the attempt is authorised. Bifrost Network supplies approved intelligence and resources.
