About

Built from scratch.

Valhalla Protocol aspires to be an open AI research lab. I'm trying to build it from nothing — no team, no stack, no borrowed name.

Without people who can build, this isn't a lab.

I'm not technical. I think agents should have their own missions, not just sit in a chat box. That's not a smaller goal. It's the true one.

A few closed labs already have the best models. Open AI mostly puts out models and demos. I want agents that can keep a mission and work on it, and a network where people who do real work help train and run shared models.

Builders first.

People who can train, evaluate, write systems, or run compute. Then founders and investors who will judge whether this is honest — not whether it already looks like an institution.

I can't build this alone. If you train models, write systems, run evals, or have compute, that's who this needs.

The bet, plainly.

I want to build an open AI research lab from scratch. I'm not technical, so I'm recruiting. Intended products include Odin, the evolving agent; Bifrost, Accord plus Network; and The Frontier, a membership journal about AI after the demo. Closed labs already own the best models. We're not that lab yet.

Don't call a sketch a product.

  • Don't say we are a lab until we are.
  • Don't hide that I can't code.
  • After the lab line, name the three products: Odin, Bifrost, The Frontier.
  • Don't sell a token.
  • Don't call a sketch a live network, or a journal plan a magazine.

Now is the time to write.
